    Hi Everyone

Just wondered if anyone could give a few pointers on improving my conversion rates for my site below.

I'm starting to get good traffic and have made a few sales but could obviously do better.

I think this might be a combination of bad sales type and maybe even a lack of clarity as to what the site is all about.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

    Cheers,

    Tom

Have you considered having a separate page for each of the products before you fire the user off to each corresponding site? That way you can specifically target the product details with your SEO as the page titles are quite generic at the moment and probably don't get as high on google as they could.

I'd also have the page names as .html instead of .php. You can still run .html as php files.

    Hi Pipeten

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated!

I know exactly what you mean it's a little bit scrappy the way it just pings you straight off to the merchant site. I was hoping to find a solution that would enable some further product info before going off to the merchant sites but haven't really found anything.

In an ideal world I'd like to have both product info pages and checkout all featured on the site (like play.com and amazon) but don't think that is possible without a serious amount of development.

I use ECU for the products as this covers all things AW, Webgains, Trade Doubler etc etc... are there any others like this that you would recommend?

    Thanks again,

    Tom

    Hi Tom

I would add a phone number in a prominent location, credit card logos and of course our very own ShopperGuard video seal.

You will also find a conversion tips email newsletter optin on the main page of our site that is sure to give your some more ideas on how you can increase your conversions.

    bounce rate?
    current unique visitor conversion rate?
    customer acquisition cost?
    customer retainment stats?

I could go on... however I appreciate these may be commercially sensitive.

As a very basic start - implement split-testing, analytical funneling to determine current visitor behavior - and build on that.

One tip from me is that having to scroll is bad for conversion. Here are some conversion rate optimisation resources.

Cool, thanks for that. I'm working on a graphic for the contact details so I think that will help a lot.

Wasn't too sure what to add for Payment card details as I have so many merchants and naturally all of their payment providers will be different.

    Cheers,

    Tom

    Hi Little Dude

Thanks for that, yeah I'm not to eager to post all the annalytics details but the split testing is a great idea.
Will check it out for sure.

Conversations have been going up steadily now so I have made a few changes to the content and that seems to have helped a lot

    Cheers guys =)

    Thanks Accelarator

I don't think there is really a way around that for the ammount of content in the product pages.

The Home Page could definitely do with a bit of a rethink though. Thanks for the advice
