impressions only counts banners or links that have a tracking pixels actually appear. Clicks is the number of clicks - so if you have regular text links these are not counted as impressions - only when they are clicked.

even so... i couldn't have had 1538 clicks. i've only been working on my website and it only had about 4 views yesterday!

That seems a lot - best keep your eye on it. It could be just a blip in reporting but if it becomes a pattern then you best raise a ticket with the network.

Only 4 views? There is something definitely wrong with that report. Continue to monitor it for the next few days. If the abnormal statistics still show up, report it.

Could be be a bot clicking on the banner trying to find out what it is, can your track your links or check your server logs for the traffic
