Noob experimenting with first affiliate site.
Can get product catalogues from CJ & WBG & import them to joomla site without problems.
but too many products in each catalogue. & many vendors=many catalogues
Rather than spending days manually editing feeds I think I need to be able to use API's

Have a developer key for CJ. Have seen lots of code examples and I can sort of follow what the code will do. But, forgive my naïveté, where do i put the code?
could really do with an idiots walk thru to enable me to do it once to get an XML or CSV output.

I do not think you will find something like that but my advice would be to start looking at the examples cj.com gives in the help pages Web Services Help if the code is to complex start a little simpler. look at what you need to know to get something running with it

soap / rest

read tutorials and make some test applications. then copy the code again and see if it starts to make sence.
