Hi,

Could someone please tell me which free web hosting websites have php, mysql and an editable php.ini file as i need to change something in the php.ini file to enable url file access.

Upload your own into the root, it should overwrite the default and use your file... depends on the host but worth a try!

I don't think any free web hosting provider will be able to offer you with this. You will need to consider a hosting package preferrably linux where you will have access to hta acess as you can enable or disable various php.ini functions from .htaccess of your account, you can also enable/disable safe mode, register globals, sessions and many other functions from .htaccess.

What is it you need to change in your php.ini?

You can set some of the PHP.ini setings in your php script

eg.

ini_set("memory_limit", "128M");

You would need a shared server or a dedicated server to edit the .ini file
