Feeds question - combining them etc

OK - so I've got this giant feed from Affiliate Window with all their products.
TradeDoubler also have their product database as a feed - I'm sure the others have them too.

These feeds are in XML format - I've got a database. Now, do these feeds "update" themselves?

Basically, right now I'm not using feeds. I've got some price comparison sites for individual products - all done by hand, deep linking. I'm typing in prices, affiliate links and descriptions right now.

Instead of me doing it by hand, and creating a new site for a new product, I thought why not keep it on a generic domain, keep it automated, and have only the products you like, maybe as price comparison search and try and rank the individual pages.

I need some help taking these feeds without using a third party to be tied down to, then displaying the price, description and affiliate link on a few "product pages".

At the end of the day I might end up using a Wordpress plugin (you have to add a page for each product tho) because it looks difficult from sratch.
Unless anyone can recommend a customizable shopping cart system that is not too expensive and you just upload your feeds to the site (and they update themselves?).

Before i go - sorry, not using iCodes or Promotions at this moment in time - and no negative response - if you've got no help to say don't say it!

Do feeds update themselves?

If you use Awin ShopWindow they do. With a lot of the other systems, you either have to update manually or write your own code to retrieve and update the feed.
