I have been trying to create a feed to go in our ebay shop, is there anyone who can help me with this. I have read the pdf file that is on Affiliate Window giving instructions but that doesn't let you know how to get file on the web site.

Ok, maybe I am missing something then, but don't you have to actually sell the goods to list them on ebay?

Will you be building a site to feature the feed's products on?

As D-Mac has correctly pointed out - you have to actually be selling something yourself in order to put it on your ebay shop, so you cannot use a merchant's feed or indeed advertise somebody else's products.

If you want to be an affiliate then you should get a domain and advertise the products there.

Yes, you can sell your OWN products on ebay

I am looking for some genuine help not sarcasm, i guess i came to the wrong place for information.I never said i was selling other peoples products, i am advertising the product... BIG Difference.

I also have a website D-Mac but was under the impression by a company i am an affiliate of I can feed into my shop as they sell the same as I do...what will happen is that the buyer clicks on the item in my shop and is directed right to the website and if they buy I earn commission?? Is that not correct then? As my shop is very popular and I do not want to do anything to cause problems...thanks in advance for your help. Like I stated in my last post I am looking for genuine help not sarcasm..on the other hand i did not mean to cause trouble here.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't list products for sale on ebay that cannot be purchased via ebay. In other words, listing products that when clicked lead to another website where the product is actually purchased is not allowed.

To advertise products that are sold on another site (where you earn commission for the sale), you will need your own site. There are several site development systems around that will enable you to import product datafeeds into them, or you can build one specifically for your own needs.
