Can anyone point me in the right direction for a reasonably basic introduction to using datafeeds to drive searches on sites.

I'm looking for something like a hotel booking system using a laterooms or booking.com (or both, merged).

It takes you through how to download a feed and display data on your site.

With regard to your plan for a hotel booking system, do you want to allow users to check availability and prices on your site, or just display the hotels in different areas?
