    Hi Guys

Sorry for this really basic question.

I've just signed up with a merchant and they have given me a feed. The instructions said, unzip the basic template on your server and hey presto. But the site now shows,

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 110 in /home/vitamins/public_html/config.php on line 16

Warning: mysql_select_db() expects parameter 2 to be resource, boolean given in /home/vitamins/public_html/config.php on line 17

I have done anything with the data feed yet. I am supposed to?

Again sorry if this sounds really stupid. But I've only every build css/html sites and basic wordpress ones.

You may need to approach the merchant for help with this.

I've asked the merchant and they think it might be a firewall or remote MySQL access issues. On to hosting provider at the moment.

you'll need to edit config.php, and add your database connection details which your host will be able to give you

Thanks for your reply. I've managed to sort the config and everything is cool.
