Can anyone point me in the right direction for creating a cash back / call back script to be integrated into an existing website, the site is written in PHP and need to implement this for AWIN and Webgains, Tradedoubler and Amazon initially. I am not creating a cash back site as such but need the feature to add a click reference and then show commission figures in users accounts in teh same way cash back sites do. the site is built using feeds and needs to continue doing so, if that makes any difference.

    Thanks

The networks allow you to pass your own info as part of their deep links. You can use this to pass info that will identify your users (eg user id). The networks also provide payment feeds that contain the info that you sent them so you can import the feed and attribute the sales to the correct users.

    Hi Tim

I don't suppose you have an example script and any other info, what you said makes perfect sense but actually finding from the networks how to get the APIs and pass info backwards and forwards is becoming a pain

    Hi Stuart,

I don't have a script to hand but I'll try and give you more of a clue of what you need to do.

If we take for instance Affiliate Window :

Their free field is "clickref" so you would add &clickref=123 (123 being your users id) to your deeplinks.

They provide the "AffiliateService API" (under links & tools) which allows you to get access to your transaction history, this will provide you with a list of your transactions including merchant id, comission, status and the clickref.

All you need to do is read the results and assign the sale to the user using the value in the clickref (users id).

    Hope that Helps

    Tim
