Hi guys I was just wondering if anyone could reveal their convertion rate as a percentage from traffic to sales for the RAC.

I have been looking at some figures for us and wanted to compare them with anyone promoting on DGM2

Cheers is advance.

Hi,

A question with a question lol

Yes no problem

We are currently getting a conversion rate of 4.32% for the RAC.

So just over 4 sales per 100 clicks

How does this compare with you Tony?

I'm asking the question as it should be fairly similar hopefully as it shouldnt really matter what network you promote a merchant with as if the tracking works and the creative is the same then the convertion rate should be the same.

Surely the biggest effect on conversion will be as a result of the best performing affiliates - ie on any network, for a particular merchant the conversion ratio obtained by affiliates could (for example) vary from 0.1 to 5% depending on the methods used (deep linking, pre-sell, how targeted the page and keywords and therefore traffic are, banners, text links, ppc, etc, etc). I know a US merchant who says that some affiliates get amazing conversion rates while others just whack up a banner and get very low conversion.

Yes Mellowmark you are right.

The 4% + is taken as an average across all sites who use RAC links with us

Some will have higher and some will have lower.
