    Hi

We have finalised our approach to XML datafeeds, we have several merchants interested in providing us with Data and will be pushing (in the new year) to get as many set up as possible

Dynamic ads, full search tools, etc will follow

    Small example here:-

Any particular merchants/products would interest you guys?!

    Cheers

Thats nice Tony, will you be offering raw xml ie like
    www.pricelook.co.uk/backend.php

and if you do is it ok if I cache stuff and/or store it in a database.

If there's anything different you need from a feed then we're willing to make changes/additions.

Okidoky Ben, ive got a million things to do.. got a new server being deployed this afternoon..

have you got a direct url to the feed?

Is there a feed on your site Ben, Id rather grab it from the source and then add the dgm links after. I was thinking a 24 hour cache would be good.. would save alot of load on your servers and prices and stuff arnt very likely to change in that time.

DGM only take the data every 24hrs anyway, so I'd rather the data was only pulled off once a day and from one location if you're ok with that?

    2am i believe.

Hopefully see you at the get together.

    Thanks

You need to select ezCodes from the Formatting options when posting to make the quotes work. It's defaulted to Plain Text.
