Fraser seems to know their stuff
  Angry Pendings

It's this time of month that I start to get a bit frustrated as I see all the sales that look like they will tick over to next month before being validated and then payment won't be until the end of November for sales in August and July.

It's just too long to wait to get paid and there has to be a solution, whether it's auto-validation or merchants keeping funds with DGM to pay in advance or some other alternative. There has to be some way to progress with this situation.....

The way to deal with the problem this end is for us to have a PROMPT PAYERS thread and a NON-PROMPT PAYERS thread which should be permanently at the top of the respective Aff Network's thread.

This will obviously influence and prospective web site operators choice of which aff to promote.

We should start with a poll which we can all contribute and the worst collective offenders should be contacted and informed of the final results and if they are unable to confirm that they will smarten up they will be left to be publicly humiliated within the thread I mentioned earlier.

I really do not subscribe to all that 'do not bite the hand that feeds you lark'. Progress is NEVER made with the approach of a sheep. Time for action me thinks.

This will be fine as long as it's done across all networks and that it's not used as a tool to blackmail, we had to remove a thread last night from this very forum that was verging on the being blackmail. We really need to keep things on a professional note, and where possible try do it from a positive point of view, no one links a room full of moaners, and same goes for a forum.

You can't blackmail someone into paying you what they already owe you!
They are earning internet on our money!

The networks are not earning interest if they have not been paid

But you do get paid before us?

And if you are not getting paid either why isn't there something more that can be done?

Just trying to raise the topic and see what people's thoughts are for improving the situation.

  re:

......then constantly pay us late.

When will we be assured that payment will be on time EVERY month?

You have plenty of time now to get things in order so that this does not happen again.

Can you make that assurance at this time please?

FT

I'm probably missing something but doesn't a process work like this...

Network Affiliate Manager picks up phone... "Hello merchant affiliate manager, you have x pending sales that have been left for weeks now, you'd best get them sorted as we and the affiliates need paying."

Merchant Manager... "Sure no problem"

Few days pass...

Network Manager "Hi, still nothing done, you have 7 days then we'll suspend you from the network - all traffic will be redirected"

Merchant Manager "Gulp!"

You see, what I don't understand is what a merchant manager actually does - creative doesn't need to be updated regularly, sales can be easily checked to see if they're
