Morning Andrew,
Can you let me know which merchants this is happening with and I'll look into it.
Thanks,
Rob.
why is my name appearing in urls when I click through - it's my username admittedly but I don't want it appearing in the url
is this just some merchants or all of them?
regards
Morning Andrew,

haven
it takes the referring url and username and displays it in the address bar - never seen that happen before
Hi Andrew,
The affiliate name is being included within the tracking now on the Haven campaign, this is essential to ensure that you get paid for everything that you deliver and has a number of additional benefits:-
- We're able to offer more specific and relevant incentives based on the capacity of your site to drive users to the site / convert users
- If there is any tracking problems we can identify these more quickly and provide resolutions more immediately
My suggestion would be for you to change your username in dgmPro if you want to avoid anyone being able to see your full name appear in the link. To do this, login to dgmPro -> select 'My Details' -> then 'Login details' -> and then choose 'Edit'.
Hope this makes sense, please do not hesitate to contact me if you require more information or have any questions.
Thanks,
Rob.
ok cheers
does my username change affect any existing links etc?
cheers
Hi Andrew,
No it won't affect any of your existing links as it looks for whatever your current username is.
Many thanks,
Rob.
thanks Rob
would be nice, since Haven is doing this, if the referring urls could be included in the dgm summary reports
cheers
Rob
your system doesn't allow a username change - it's not editable
Hi Andrew,
I must apologise, I wasn't aware affiliates couldn't edit their usernames themselves.
If you could email me what you want your username to be changed to I'll get it amended immediately - rob.carter@dgm-uk.com.
Kind regards,
Rob.
cheers Rob
have emailed you
