Great news: Equitalk have increased their general commission rate from £10 per account opened to £14.

I've been promoting Equitalk on their independent program (£10/account + 5% residual bill share) for the last few months, and the residual part is increasing month on month - but at the moment I'd probably be better off on £18CPA.

I was just wondering what people, that have been in the independent program longer then me, find the average residual income per user per month is.

My September Referral Credits/Total Referrals works out as 20p, so at that rate it would take over 3 years to make up the £8 inital difference. I don't think my figures are that useful as I have referred less than 50 users. I would love to hear from some one that has a large base to average over.

If everyones getting similar rates then it will be time to switch to dgm2.

My average monthly residual commission on Equitalk is around 94p per customer, although I have specifically targeted high usage customers and international callers.

Don't forget that with the indie program, should a customer refer a friend (and there are plenty of incentives for them to do so), then you also receive 2% monthly residual commish on their friends call volume.

Excellent way of growing your customer base virally is to mention to your wife a way she can spend as long on the phone as she likes, simply by referring her friends - at least it worked for me!
