dgm merchants not switching to other networks quickly enough for my liking.
whats going on? is dgm still trading or do we wipe everything dgm and its merchants?
surely it's a simple question to answer

Reading the letter from RSM Tenon that came this AM, it states the company Dealgroupmedia (UK) Limited is still trading.
If you keep your links up however is a risk you might want / not want to take.
Like many we have lost enough as it is from DGM going into Admin, so all our links have been removed from our sites.
Thanks Lee
I have removed by links to (even before receiving the photocopied letter from the administrator this morning!).
That said I still like to torture myself by logging to the DGM website each day and watch sales still tracking which I'm confident I won't receive the commission for...<sigh>
give merchants a bit of time - this was as much a shock to them as it was for affiliates. It takes a bit of time to discuss with other networks, decide on commercials and get integration under way. It's not as straight forward as affiliates swapping links to another network or another retailer unfortunately

If it's been paid, it's the receivers to deal with and if it's not been then I suspect they try and rake it in ...
I would assume to get nothing and then if you do get something it's a bonus.
I have a vague memory of having to make a note of it for the accountant last time a company went bump = and to have a note of how much was owed.
Fair points. By the same token I'm sure the networks don't see the hard work that goes into building websites and generating sales. Hopefully that covers the mutual appreciation
In terms of account management I've sent 2 emails to a well known network this month asking quick/simple questions. Both got no reply - presumably these emails were read but ignored.
My commission on this network is only £375 so far this month so I realise the network over-ride isn't enough to cover the cost of an account manager's time to write a reply. Fair enough, in which case why not send an automated email saying something like we got your email but you don't make us enough money for it be worth our while replying sort this out yourself. Then I would sort it out myself without wasting time expecting a reply - that would be account management
I'm sure you guys are doing a great job with all the stuff you mentioned above. Does make you wonder why a network could go bust - somebody did something wrong
The administrators will chase merchants for any outstanding payments due to DGM and the merchant is obliged to pay them but these won't come your way... as I stated previously the admins take their fees out first then any secured creditors get priority over staff then unsecured creditors such as affiliates will get to share the rest.. which you can bet your last penny will be a big fat ZERO!
We will communicate via email to as many affiliates as we have email addresses for, on this forum and also via our new network (once appointed).
Please rest assured that we are trying to get the JD Williams affiliate program up and running with a new network ASAP.

Can anyone please advise on what I would practically need to send to RSM Tenon Recovery by 29th July?
The letter asks for 'a copy of your standard terms and conditions of supply of goods' and 'evidence that the Company accepted such conditions' amongst other things.
I don't have the above, that I know of but I've three unpaid invoices in their Payment Summary reports pages.
Cheers,
Ray

Got it cheers. There's a link to it at the foot of the page once logged in.
it f**ing really annoys me that affiliates have to do anything. We are owed the money - why do we have to send them anything?
