When I got my letter yesterday from the administrators I was shocked and ranted & raved. However the following morning I also realise how so often the staff actually have no control over whats going on and are often not able to say anything even if they wanted to, plus you also hope things will get better and just like Woolworths there is often hope up to the last minute, if it becomes common knowledge then people start jumping ship.
I was mainly surprised as I log into my account and nothing had changed, even merchants wrote their letters to us, then suddenly you open your post to find out that it all stopped some 9 days ago.
But what I also want to say is thanks to those staff that are obviously now thinking of their future and their families and putting food on the table. I didn't understand the deeplinking at the start even though so simple now, I also always pushed for the 120 wide by 600 long banners and there were probably times when people got a bit fed up with me, but I have to say the service from the staff was always great & friendly.
As for the DGM owners well I can only say that I am deeply surprised, I haven't removed any links yet because the company needs merchants and affiliates for new buyers to be interested, but the way you haven't kept us informed really is bad, if this is a storm then let us decide if we want to ride it out or jump ship, I know promises can't be made but just a daily posting on here would be brilliant, normally companies in admin get snapped up, so just a daily message, yes we have interested parties, no the companies being broken up, just a clue, not just for the affiliates but for the merchants as well, who lets be honest will just jump ship!!!
Also to the DGM Staff..
I hope that you are reading this thread.. very many thanks for the help that you have all given to me.. You have all been professional and friendly.. I hope everything works out for you..
I won't jump ship either, I suppose I still have hope for you all..
