Does anyone have the details of deeplink urls for DGM merchants they could either post here or pm to me - the deeplinking page on DGM's site is not working - presumably since their upgrade![]()
Specifically I'm looking for the link for Bennetts Electricals and any other electrical merchants on DGM.
Thanks
Keith

I think you just make syure the URL is like
http://www.dgm2.com/m/PROGNAME/b.asp?A=YOURID&I=THEIRID&C=FULLURL
Should work for all merchants
ie
http://www.dgm2.com/m/altgifts/b.asp? A=10669&I=9662&C=http://www.alt-gifts.com/shop/index2/page/shop/s_flypage/product_id/2288
should link to alt gifts Horse Share page

DEEP LINKING INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that the following deep linking instructions are generic and apply to most but not all of our merchants. In the event of this format not working for one of your merchants please email us making sure you include the URL of the page you want to link to and also your affiliate ID and we will get back to you with a solution.
To link to a specific page on a merchant site using our generic instructions this is how to do it:
Art republic example
You use the text link code that you can copy from your affiliate area, for example the Artrepublic text link would be:
<A href="http://www.dgm2.com/m/artrep/t.asp?A=YOURIDGOESHERE&I=11564YOUR TEXT HERE"
"http://www.dgm2.com/m/artrep/t.asp?A=1458&I=1418[YourID Goes Here]">YOUR TEXT HERE </A>
change t.asp to b.asp for the deep linking function to work
and add &c= after the end of the hyperlink just before the final (") then add your new code keeping within the quote (") tags.
For example; say that you want to link to the 'Nu a la Chemise' print on Art Republic that has the URL http://www.artrepublic.com/posters/p...p?sku=op02194. Then this is the code that you need to use to link to this page:
http://www.dgm2.com/m/artrep/b.asp?A...c.com/posters/
productpage/showposters.asp?sku=op02194YOUR TEXT HERE
Please note ...
There are many circumstances where this method of deep linking may not work, e.g frame sites, and long URL's, and multiple use of & "Ampersand" to name but a few. Please be aware that URL's that contain multiple (?) queries may not work either, please test vigorously.
All links that are made using &c= should be tested thoroughly before making live, and should be tested monthly to make sure they still link to the correct pages.
