I've just received a 60+ page letter in the post from the DGM liquidators which includes the amount EVERY affiliate is owed along with all our trading name and address.
It made every interesting reading but it's the kind of information I wouldn't expect any network to divulge about my business to anyone, let alone my competitors.

Are the liquidators supposed to have released this information?

Seems that way. I received the exact same information for I-Level when they went into administration.

Interersting. I've experienced half a dozen companies go into administration and never received a full list of creditors, their address and the amounts they were owed before.

The best you can do it publish it on one of your own sites as a link bait... You're not going to get paid in cash so why not get paid in links?

I too was pretty horrified to receive the full list of creditors' names and addresses / amounts owed. Surely this is a breach of data protection laws?

Not to mention the amount of paper sent to me when my amount owed is less than £1.

Any republication on any website would be a breach against data protection as the letter is clearly marked private and confidential...

Was interesting however to see there were only 9 creditors owed more than me

Still as far as i can make out looks like we might receive some money back which is a bonus as I had written the whole debt off.

Not too sure what you can do with the names and address of the creditors owed money tho so I'm not all that bothered that you have my company name and address.

Also interesting to see they are charging 7p per pience of paper so each pack would of cost about £5.40 to send out x the approximate 1,500 creditors on the list who would of each received a copy, that mail shot alone lopped another £8K off what is likely to be left to pay us!

    Ho hum....

Good luck to all those hoping to get some money back

    Best Regards

    Mike

Yeah, total scam that the people dealing with it can go out their way to run up massive charges, and of course they get paid before anyone else

Realistically there should be safegaurds in place to limit that - say anyone owed under £50 doesn't get paid, notified, or money wasted on at all...

Out of interest, roughly how many are owed less than the £5.40 it cost to send?
