Has anyone else noticed the reduction in MoreThan car insurance commission from £25 to £17.50? It's not yet advertised at DGM, but will be soon (as confirmed by DGM).

I think we will be switching our links to TD as they pay £24.50 (or so they state). Has anyone had a TD sale and, if so, was the commission rate £24.50? I know that the TD Merchant info is often out-of-date.

    Hi RetroLink,

I think you're getting your wires crossed because there has never been any thought given to reducing the amount paid on More Than Motor.

The rate is the same as it's always been i.e. £25.

As for More Than Pet, watch this space!

    Best regards,

    John

It's not me getting my wires crossed, it's DGM! I just got an email back from them saying "I can confirm that sales are in fact at £25 not £17. I am very sorry for the confusion."

I have now sent 2 emails to DGM in 1 week and both times I have been given totally incorrect responses (the other was when they were telling me that a merchant had left their network when they hadn't!).

Also, the commission stated for my MoreThan sale was displayed as £17. However, this has now been changed to £25....

Not moaning, just can't understand how DGM can 1) confirm to me that a merchant has left their network when they haven't; and 2) confirm to me that a commission rate has changed when it hasn't.

DGM are always pretty good at responding to my emails, but sometimes provide the wrong answers.

    Life is never simple...

I think when DGM set up the car and pet insurance tracking items for morethan, it was all placed under the same id.

With Car at 25 and pet at 17, when sales are validated, my guess is that they have to manually change the pricing structure dependant upon the order id.

You have to presume that if a sale has an order id that starts with QC0, it is worth 25 and an order id of QP0 is worth 17.

It is all usualy corrected at the time of validation. I dont hear anyone complaining that they are wrongly credited 25 for a 17 pet sale.

I had a validated QC0 sale for £17 earlier today. DGM said they were working on this problem and would fix it before the end of the day.

The £17 sale is not in my validated sales anymore, but all pending sales have now changed to £17 from £25.

So I guess we need to keep an eye on the MoreThan validations....

I seem to have sales for morethan car insurance which had been validated a couple of days ago at £25 each now moved to pending sales at £17

    Hi Guys.

Really sorry about all the yoyo activity regarding the commission changes on More Th>n.

Just know that when you make a motor sale you'll be receiving £25 and for Pet £17. Unfortunately there is a scripting problem which is causing a headache for me, hence why the level is changing intermittently. Also, you might have noticed that on more than one occasion, I've had to reverse and revalidate.

But I can assure you that I'll have this sorted by the end of today.

    Best regards,

    John

p.s. a4uforummember: agree with everything you say especially the part where no one complains when being overpaid. Always a strange one!!

    Hi Guys & Girls,

Just wanted to say how shocked I am that so many of you are making sales, I thought I was the only one. Looks like I'll have to up the competition to decrease your sales and increase mine.

Can someone just confirm that these are (AND FILL in the missing blanks) what the different networks are offering for morethan as I think there is a bit of confusion.

    Car: TD £24.50 , £25
    Pet: TD £28, £15
Home: TD - doesnt say , DGM £25
Rescue: TD - NOT MENTIONED , DGM £15
