Formal Confirmation Requested by DGM re: 180 solns & similar

Despite recent postings by Nicky (whom I have the greatest of respect for) may I take this opportunity to request a Formal Confirmation from Nicky and DGM that they (DGM in the UK and DGM in Australia) does not, and will not have any Affiliate or Publisher relationship with 180 Solutions or any other similar subsidiary or related companies to 180 Solutions including Metrics Direct, Zango etc.

The reason I request this is because a conversation took place within the last 3 weeks that involved 2 parties in Australia, one of which was a senior member of DGM staff in Australia. That member of the DGM staff when asked if they were still working with 180 Solutions (or a related company) stated that "although it was being kept quiet, of course they were still working with them, and that 180 Solutions produced far too much revenue for them to be dropped as an Afffiliate..."

In light of this I would much appreciated if DGM could confirm and state their position about their Australian operation as well as their UK operation, AND that the situation applies not only to 180 Solutions but also all subsidiaries or related companies that employ such same solutions irregardless of the company names under which they might sign up as Affiliates or Publishers.

Hi Toby

You have my confirmation that dgm as a WHOLE group are not working with 180 solutions and I shall be contacting our GM in Australia to ensure that this is understood by all members of staff.

Thanks for letting me know.

Regards
Nicky

Thanks for the confirmation Nicky - much appreciated! It clears the way for some further work in Australia now.

Yes, am still around - just not quite so verbal as in years gone by - maybe the South Pacific mellows you out a bit. But was real sorry to see you leave CJ - cant help feeling they are taking the plunge since then.

Take care!

Such is life. Brickbats instead of bouqets.

DGM Australia actively investigated and dumped N-case within weeks of becoming aware of the issue back in February 2004. I think this was at least 60 days before DGM UK anounced the same on this forum.

In response to a query, DGM Australia announced the following on the Australian Forum on 16-03-2004

"HI.

dgmAustralia DO NOT work with 180 solutions.

JP"

The swap-your-links campaign on this forum began on 24-02-04 and took a while to gather momentum.

A week prior to this, DGM Australia had already announced the following on the Australian Forum on 17-02-04.

"I've got 180 taken off the dgm network because I dont want them illegally hijacking affiliate sales using codes."

Obviously, he was referring to Australia. Since then I have not seen a DGM Australia link in parasiteware downloads although they would still be in pre-existing installs.

Has anybody else seen any?

jim
