christ that was quick suspension.
Typical DGM as per normal - telling us only half a story.
I only found out about this program on Monday night, when it was mentioned in the newletter.
So after updating several pages to include an ad last night I was p*ssed off to see this evening that it's now suspended.
There's no mention of this suspension on the main DGM admin page, where it's still listed as being a new program
So I came on this forum to find out why it was suspended, expecting to get more info that DGM give us, and I find out it's a capped program - so I assume the cap has been reached.
When a new program is capped, why don't they tell us?
This is particularly important for something where the cap is likely to be reached after a few days.
I found out about this merchant on Monday, and by Wednesday it's suspended. That's just a joke.
It looks like I wasted a lot of time updatiing pages last night - something I wouldn't have done if I'd known it wasn't going to be around for long.
And if it really is suspended, why is there no mention of it in the new DGM Bulletin Board?

I don't think they have reached the cap.. looks to me like the tracking has broken... again.
I've just had a lead come through - but I've already removed my links.
Where did you see it was suspended, I can't see it on the suspended list ?
All the pendings I had were validated today, which is why I thought tracking had broken.
It's not on the suspended list. But I think that list is human generated, so they can 'forget' to add programs to it.Originally posted by aclarke656

But if you look at the Your Merchants page, you won't see it in the Live programs list, you have to run the report to include suspended programs.
I see what you mean but I've had sales in the last hour still going through and validating

Oh right I see what you mean Jeff.. I also noticed by running that report another campaign I am running has also been suspended without anyone telling me about it, or bothering to put it on the suspended list.
Perhaps DGM could clarify which programs that are not on the suspended list have actually been suspended, and why they haven't bothered to tell anyone about it.
Hi,
Due to the overwhelming success of the campaign we have had to suspend it.
We have yet to approach the cap, so you should still see sales being validated on a regular basis.
As I previously mentioned, if anyone has any concerns or would like to discuss the specifics, I'm more than happy to assist - my contact details are listed below.
Given the turnaround time on the newsletter and the speed with which the campaign took off, there has been an unfortunate lapse in communication, apologies for this.
We will ensure the information provided on the site and this week's newsletter informs all publishers about the current state of play.
Once again, thanks for your help in making this campaign so successful.

Just to add to Kevin's post, this program flew out of the door as soon as it went live, and there is a cap on the number of registrations the merchant wants.
We were only recently informed that the consumer prize offer of £10,000 ends on Sunday 5th December, and on consideration, we decided to suspend now to allow for cookie sales, and not overdeliver.
Thanks for making this campaign so successful, in such a short space of time!

will the program active again later ?
At this stage, we have no exposure to any plans from the merchant to run further activity.
You will be the first to know if this situation changes.
best wishes,

Affiliates should have been informed if it was capped.
Since the merchant told us & possibly others their intentions it was capped & furture plan for the program at a recent G2G.
Hence we held back promoting it.

Apologies for lack of up to date communication on this. When we started the campaign, there wasn't a cap - the merchant's plan was to top up the budget each time we got close to the target.
However, the campaign delivered far beyond their expectations, so a cap was introduced, and at this stage, with the £1000 consumer offer over, there is no more budget.
Set budget campaigns, particularly with cookie sales, are difficult to manage at the best of times. We made it moreso by not keeping our publishers in the loop when parameters changed.
As I said we will keep you as up to date as possible regarding additional activity
best wishes,
