we've been doing a few churchill nodding dogs (one of the sites we own is www.noddingdogs.co.uk).

they were £15 quid (fair too expensive imho), but they were recently reduced to £7.50 and started flying out.

today we've had no sales for them at all and i've just checked and they are now "Reduced" to £12.00 (From £15.00 apparently).

obviously they can do what they want with their prices, but can they claim they are reduced from £15.00 when in fact they have gone up from £7.50?!

    very shoddy.

    grrrr

I think if I remember rightly that to claim a price is reduced from x you have to be able to prove that the item has been sold at x through one of your outlets for at least the last 30 days.

Many of the big stores get around this by selling say a jumper at 49.99 in one of their stores while all other stores are selling it at 29.99. They can then quite legally sell it for 24.99 in all their stores and claim it is now half price!!
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
