Has anyone else had some Yahoo! Mail leads disappear

On 1st Dec I had 6 Yahoo! Mail leads pending for November

Checked today having seen other post from DGM that all leads for November and December have been validated and they have just disappeared - they have not been approved, they are not still pending, they are not showing as deleted - just gone!

Will query it with DGM on Monday but just wondered if any others here had noticed something similar?
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

This could be related to the tracking issue that occurred when the program initially went live. Sales were not appearing in the pending area and could only be seen when they were validated (this has subsequently been rectified).

The deletion rate for this program has been very low, so it's unlikely your sales have all been deleted.

If you check your validated sales you may see the transactions you're querying, if not don't hesitate to contact me and we'll try to get to the bottom of it.

I'm with Kbudden here.

Sales from 1st December no longer appear pending, there are not in the validated list, and they are not in the deleted list.

So where are they?

Yep I've got some missing as well for the 1st December, haven't checked the rest yet.

As previsously mentioned, the campaign has a very low deletion rate, so it's unlikely the transactions have been deleted.

There was a tracking issue that meant pending sales weren't appearing in the pending area. I'm unaware of there being a particular issue on December 1st and we validated several thousand applications that day.

If you'd like to speak to me directly, please do, my details are below.

My missing transactions for the 1st December are NOT present in validated, deleted or pending anymore. They were present when I downloaded my statistics during the 1st December.

As my last download was during the 1st it means that I may only know a subset of the missing transactions. Therefore I will only know when you have fixed your problem when these missing transactions reappear.

I think your answer to three seperate affiliates reporting that transactions are missing from your system on a specific date should be along the lines of...

There is obviously a general problem, we will look into it immediately and report back on this thread as soon as possible.

Not to try and fix it on a case by case basis.

I am looking into this.

We have recorded many thousands of transactions and have not received any feedback until now that there could be an issue with transactions.

Until I have specific examples it's difficult for me to investigate whether there is a potential problem.

As previously mentioned there was an initial technical issue that was resolved. This would not have resulted in any lost sales.

I have attached my contact details and would appreciate any feedback with specific examples so I can raise with our technical team.

Kind regards,

It worries me that affiliates need to provide specific examples of data which we can no longer see in the system in order for DGM to investigate whether there is a potential problem.

If you make the assumption that it is unlikely 3 seperate affiliates are all incorrect it means that your database now has either less yahoomail records than it had on the 1st December, or the content of those records has changed.

The normal way to check for this type of suspected dataloss is to restore the database as of 1st December from your backups and compare the differences for the yahoomail records for that date.

If you must have examples in order to investigate, I only have a few as I took my download early on 1st December, so perhaps Kbudden or Freebie would be a better source as I'd like to hold mine back so I can verify that the problem has been fixed.

Has anyone else who promoted the yahoo mail program detected vanishing sales ?

Hi,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

We've looked into the transaction history for the days in question and haven't found any irregularity in sales recorded.

If you have specific sales that you want to query then please send the details to me and I will forward to our tech team (Keith, I have the transaction details you sent to me).
