Hi,

MicroWarehouse will be temporarily suspended from the network on 28th December due to a relaunch next month.

The advertiser has asked us to communicate the following information to their publishers:

Dear Affiliates,

As you may already be aware MicroWarehouse is now part of the DSG Retail Group.

From 28th December 2004 our links will unfortunately be temporarily suspended as we migrate to a common web platform.

It is anticipated that our program will be running again in mid January. We will keep you posted in a timely fashion and provide new creative for the re-launch. With the new site we will be able to offer even more products than before with over 40,000 items available online and we’ll be launching a new commission structure to make our program even more attractive for you.

I don't like to be flippant...okay I dont really mind...but I would be interested to know other forum members experiences with this program.

We have sent very targeted traffic all year to this program, yet it is a very poor almost non existent performer and would only be interested if they offered a ppc element.

I agree, the sales are very poor. I can understand why - Try placing an order online, its damm confusing. The average visitor is left in a position to either quit or call them. I eventually managed to place a order, but it never tracked. All my other merchants track, and are checked frequently. I ditched the program back in early 2004

Hi,

When this program returns this month I expect the offering to be signifcantly improved.

The client has indicated the pricing will be more competitive with the intention of repositioning the company within the market.

I don't currently have any other details.

I will follow up with the client shortly to see if they have anymore information I can relay to publishers.

I've found performance very poor too so the whole package would need to be improved to handle orders better as well as better pricing.

Hi,

I've been in contact with the client this week and they are still in the process of outlining what the details of the new program will be. They have yet to agree new commission levels but have assured me the new program will be an improvement on the old one.

I don't expect the program to be ready for at least another couple of weeks. As soon as I have some details I will forward them on to you.

just got this email,

Don\'t expect much help from MicroWarehouse or Inmac as it now calls itself. You hang on the phone for ages paying an 0870 enhanced (read expensive)line rate and don\'t really get anywhere. An operator will happily put you through to another automated line where nobody answers or there\'s a voice mail message system. When you can eventually get a returns number, wait at least a week for your item to be collected. I waited another two weeks and had to contact the Company as I\'d heard nothing. They then told me they would refund my credit card. This hadn\'t happened after three days and when I enquired again I was told it could take at least two weeks for the refund to be processed. It\'s nearly a month since my monitor was collected and I still haven\'t had a refund. I won\'t buy there again!

Is anyone really going to rush in promoting this merchant when it relaunches? Considering its track record at converting traffic. Only if they included a ppc element would we really consider them.
