Thank you for looking into it - I appreciate that you took the trouble to phone me. However, you are missing the point.

    No kidding, Paul,

I've been diddled out of at least £520 and I'm not going to be fobbed off with rubbish like "the bonus was only up to the end of March".

If they get away with this, they will continue to entice affiliates with big promises and later just slam the door in our faces, with "oh, it was only for a week, we just didn't bother telling you, tough luck".

Finding it hard not to get more and more angry. I don't like posting on the board like this, as it's more professional to sort things out one-to-one, but to wait 3 weeks for a reply that doesn't even touch the issue leads me to think it is the only way to get a response.

Behind closed doors is sometimes what parties want....then what about the next poor person?

It's true. I have been pestering DGM for 3 weeks. After I posted here I got a response - unsatisfactory, but at least a response.

I don't think affiliates should rush to the forum with every complaint and I thought hard about this and I've been patient, but if a serious issue like cutting commision without notification is ignored for 3 weeks, then my postings are justified.

Obviously, to get an e-mail claiming they're increasing bonuses, rubbed salt in the wound - an apology would have been more appropriate.

I'm a reasonable person - if merchants miscalculated the commission, fair enough, they have every right to drop commission for any reason whatsoever, but they have to tell us FIRST. Otherwise, we could be paying way over the odds on ppc or allocating other resources to give them quality traffic.

Just don't know how DGM can close their eyes on this one.

I spoke to dgm late on today and a techie was still looking into it... but I checked just now and the banners still don't show on this pc. We've checked on 4 and it only happens on one - so hopefully it isn't affecting stuff too much - but I've swapped some links about to try and minimise my losses.

That's probably partly why I been quite vociferous in this thread, because in essence you were that "next person" impo. I tried to sit back & wait before getting involved ... but kinda knew there was more than what the thread started out to be.... which was bad enough within itself

lakrasia, please keep us informed every step of the way.

OK I've deleted my cookies and now the banners show...

(I can't advise people to delete cookies if they don't see a banner though...)

Remember this thread Mogga? I wouldn't be surprised if it was connected as that cookie test definately wasn't working for one user with the ediets problem (testing with a program still using the normal tracking domain)

It looks like the new tracking domain will use the same massive cookies as the old setup. When I last looked into this my PUKAFF cookie was 4KB in size. As this, and the normal cookie, gets sent as part of a GET request to the new domain, and IE has a 2KB url length limit, its not surprising that things are going wrong. Though that doesn't explain Fraser's log where it seems he has no www.dgm2.com cookie set.

Just to update you, DGM have agreed to pay the commission owed to me.

Links are now working, but had to delete cookies each time to check. Hope customers with cookies are still not affected.

Please let the forum know when you are in receipt of these commissions, so other affiliates can likewise do the same, before we unstick this thread.

I'm still waiting; as some of them are recent, I guess it will take a couple of months for them all to go through. I'll certainly keep you posted.
Thanks for all your support. I really do appreciate it.

I'm pleased to say I've been paid now, so thanks to Patricia at DGM for sorting it out.
