I'm pleased to announce the launch of Airline Network on dgm.

Airline Network is one of the UK's leading independent travel companies, offering access to discount airfares from over 130 of the world's leading airlines, 6,000 hotels worldwide and car hire in over 30 countries. Airline Network's award winning website is easy-to-use and offers instant access to the very best travel deals around which can be booked quickly, easily and securely online.

According to a Hitwise report from May 2005, Airline Network has a bigger market share based on online visits, than ebookers, Travelocity and Opodo, so the potential for this program is great.

Initially we're rolling out two products, flights and car hire

As you would expect Airline Network has a particular strength in flights. Australia and Dubai (touted as the next big tourist destination) are two destinations where Airline Network commands a substantial share of the market, so you might want to consider pushing these key locations:

• 15-20% of flights to Australia booked through Gold Medal Travel (owner of Airline Network)
• The number one travel operator to Dubai in the World.

You can book flights on all major airlines and receive 1.2% commission. That means you can earn more via Airline Network than by promoting some of the big players directly.

You will also receive 2% on car hire. Whilst we're not currently offering commissions on additional products these will be brought onto the network in the near future.

We also have a couple of cracking searchable banners that should help keep your conversions up, deeplinking from the banner to provide completely up-to-date information on the latest cheap fares across the globe. These are currently available for both flights and car hire in two sizes: 468x60 & 120x600

We also hope to have an XML feed in place shortly.

Airline Network has requested affiliates shouldn't bid on their brand name, but any generic PPC is permissible.

There is a visible telephone number on the homepage, we are working with the client to minimise this as much as possible.

There is a 30-day cookie attached.

I'll need to check with the relevant account manager. I know we're pushing to bring additional products on board but I don't think there are immediate plans.
