Migration Of Merchants - Wednesday

Why wasn't anyone informed that today's planned migration of merchants from DGM2 to DGMPro wasn't going to take place ?

How are we meant to plan ahead ourselves if we don't know what is happening on a day to day basis. DGM say one thing today and tomorrow something completely different happens.

When are we going to be told how to deep link using the new system ?

The deep link section on the DGMpro website has older content than is available on DGM2 despite the fact they should be the same until Deeplinking with the new system is available.

We currently use a large number of content units to match the different areas of our website content and this lack of information is causing a nightmare, we also use product feeds to maximum effect, but it's only viable if we have the information we need.

With respects to DGM the new system is quicker and easier to use than the old system - especially using content units - we had a number up and running the first day we had access. But it's the lack of information available that's causing the complaints. On the first day of access there was a facility for deleting content units, this disappeared without any notice or explanation.

It would have been a good idea to provide a manual in PDF format so we could have the opportunity to take advantage of the new system and the new facilities which will begin to appear on it. In fact it's not too late to do this.

Following yesterdays failure to transfer Genes Reunited, Friends Reunited, First Plus, Auto Trader, Slendertone, Eagle Star, Cottages4you, Strikermillion, Equitalk, Lime Loans, DesperateSeller (I know how they feel !) and Barnardos to DGMPro yesterday it looks like you can add today down as a failure as well.

According to DGM Coral Casino, Gerald Online, Autotrader Insurance, The Mobs, Tele 2, Music Room, Shelter, Victoriaplumb, Evesham Technology, Talkworldonline, Shirley Of Hollywood, Warner Holiday and William Hill.co.uk should have tranferred today.

Although the good news is Eden 4 Hampers has been transfered.

Update : 6:55pm - Most of the merchants above have now migrated.
