Just a quick note to apologise for the delay in validating July's pending sales for Haven Holidays.

I'm working to clear them ASAP.

The first week of July will be validated today and I intend to clear the whole month before the end of August.

Hi,

I was able to validate about 85% of Haven sales for July, but this still leaves a sizeable chunk that I need to revisit today.

I intend to clear these ASAP and will let you know when this has been done.

But these other ones are showing in Sepetember historical report on dgm2.

If so does this now mean we have to wait an extra month for payment.

Won't be happy if that is the case.

Unfortunately yes.

Due to the large number of sales and long turnaround with sales that we were authorised to validate, the delay was sadly unavoidable.

I fully intend to clear August's before month-end to avoid this cropping up again.

On a positive note the deletion rate is negligible, so at least you know practically all your pending sales will result in actual commission.

Sorry Kevin but I find it totally unacceptable that you say the delay was unavoidable - clearly you had the data from Haven by 25th August but due solely to DGM resource problems you could not get them all validated by the 31st August.

This goes to emphasise DGMs lack of attention to affiliate needs, if it meant you or your colleagues having to work over the bank holiday weekend or a few evenings until midnight you should have done so - would you be happy if your personnel dept said "Ever so sorry Kevin but you wont get paid for another 6 weeks cos it was a bank holiday weekend and well you know what it was like"

Any DBA worth their salt could write a quick database query to reset the validation date on the Haven transactions you validated yesterday to be validated on 31st August so they could be included in the August payment - I assume DGM has a DBA on the payroll - but then given recent developments maybe you dont!

You state I clearly had the data by 25th August.

I was able to clear the first week of July as I had received these sales by that particular date.

The remaining data was received after the bank holiday. I worked to clear this as my main priority. I was left with some sales that were not present in the data sent to me.

It was these sales I was unable to process.

Apologies - your first post in this thread dated 25th implied you had all of the data - but it appears that this was not the case.

Either way - my second point still stands, a DBA could easily reset these dates if DGM were so minded to do so.

That's fine - it was slightly ambiguous from my initial post.

Rest assured I did treat Haven as my main priority.

I've checked with our finance team and I'm really pleased to say we are able to credit these sales in August's payment.
