Hi,

Thanks for letting me know.

We'll investigate but don't worry, you will be credited the correct commission amounts regardless of what is currently being reported.

Will post an update when I have one.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Comet process the applications for the program and sent me an updated list of approvals today.

These will be processed in due course.

Thanks,

  Comet Commissions

Hi,

We're still looking into this, but it would seem that certain types of product are coming through with zero commissions.

Initial investigation shows that kitchen and home products are being credited the correct commission amounts, whereas sales of technology products are appearing with no commission attached.

This issue has been escalated and I'm waiting for a response.

I'll post here when I have a resolution.

Many thanks,

The representative from Comet we deal with has been away since last week week and not due back until about 13th September. I have requested a response from the affilate manager at Comet whom we have spoken with but it appears that it seems to be a dgm reporting problem rather than a Comet issue.

All sales are being tracked with correct sales' amount, but as stated some sales do not have commission attached.

Because Comet sales validate so frequently (75-80% of sales validate within an hour of the sale being recorded) the commissions will need to be credited manually.

When the issue has been resolved it will be possible to take stock of where appropriate commissions need to be credited.

Kind regards,

  Comet Commission Update

Hi,

The majority of categories have now been sorted out so sales will largely be coming in with correct commissions attached.

There are some computing and gaming categories to be sorted, hopefully this will be tackled tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Hi Andy,

I'm aware of all the sales - importantly we tracked the sales' value for each transaction so are able to make the necessary credits.

Please bear with me as I will need to make manual credits for every publisher who generated sales at £0.00 commission.

Don't worry, these will be worked out and credited before month end.

Don't hesitate to call should you need further information.

Kind rgds,

  Comet Sales and Credits

Hi,

A quick update to let you know we're now in the process of working out the credits for each sale validated at £0.00 commission.

The technical reason this was happening has been resolved so all commissions should now be correct.

As a follow-up to this, we're recording a large amount of pre-orders for the new Xbox 360.

The Xbox can be secured for £10, so this is the sales' value being recorded. Obviously this impacts on the commission allocated for each sale.

We will be looking to credit the correct commission amount when we know the value of the sales. Similarly this will be done for the Sony PSP which could also be secured for £10.

In general, September is shaping up to be the best month for the Comet affiliate program since January and we're hopeful about implementing some great publisher offers shortly in good time for the run up to Christmas.

Any questions, let me know.

Kind regards,

That's great. But does anybody else know? We haven't seen a single Comet click-through or sale track for the last few weeks. DGM2 still shows 0 clicks, 0 Sales.

And weren't Comet supposed to be migrated to DGMPro yesterday? I guess that hasn't happened? Or maybe it did happen and you haven't updated the Migration Schedule yet? Again, it's hard to know because DGMPro reporting doesn't work either.
