I
am surprised that a sweeping comment like that would be made about publishers - if it was at all - as we are going on hearsay. I recollect something similar a few years back which was actually said & wasn't too well received.
However, admittance of a totally inadequate system would have been a lot more palatable than trying to impress upon experienced affiliates, publishers & entrepreneurs (or all three) with suggestions in writing or verbally that other affiliates consider it the next best thing since the invention of the wheel.
"you can fool some people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people, all the time"
Together, with comments about everything tracking and/or reporting fine does raise considerably doubt with regard to the integrity of any comments made by dgm - past, present or future.
If affiliates /publishers / entrepreneurs & even merchants lose trust & respect in a network, what footing does that place the network on? Albeit the effect maybe only short term. Resulting from a sequence of events & issues over 2005.
I remember earlier this year / late last year a number of affiliates clammering to buy shares in dgm. How many of those / us now still retain some or all of them as part of our portfolios?
