I really sense a new determination to change, and change for the better
To be fair Keith, short of becoming a Magic Button, it couldn't really have got much worse and I'd be amazed if DGM didn't have determination to change for the better.

Whilst all these words and virtual hugs is wonderful now the simple facts are that DGMPro has impacted on affiliates not for a couple of days or weeks, but months... and that kind of disaster is not going to magically vanish over night or through words.

Great it's going to be sorted... but no one really expected them to turn round and say they'd done good... so imo what they're doing now is the minimum they should be doing to restore affiliate confidence and faith (although if they send carrots in the post i'll not be happy).

Some of what was discussed must rightly remain commercially confidential but I can openly say that I think its time for us all to give Simon, Mark and crew a little bit of a breather (and I'm talking a week or two - not a prolonged sabbatical - to sort things out) to get the final glitches of dgmpro ironed out.
I think its important that we discuss problems we are seeing here and that we confirm other peoples observations.

It would also be good if DGM included a list of issues in their daily report. You would think there's nothing wrong apart from some problems with reporting from the last two.

What I meant to say was not that we should not discuss problems here - of course thats right and good to do - and an important part of everyone understanding what the problems are - but equally recognise that they are taking action to resolve the problems.

Jason - I take your point that they're not doing more than we should reasonably expect them to - believe me I'm not praising them - and they know that - but equally I felt it was important to convey that they recognise the seriousness of the situation and arent ignoring it or treating it flippantly which could be implied from some other posts.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

lol - thought that one would be coming from someone!

Anyone who knows me well, and management of all of the networks, knows that I cant easily be pacified by having my 'tummy tickled' - and believe me some networks have tried far harder to buy favour by tummy tickling than DGM have.

Theres a difference between giving grounds for reconciliation after a full, frank and honest professional discussion (and that means being prepared to say (and defend your argument) face to face to senior management at the networks) what is easy to say hiding behind a forum persona, and 'having your tummy tickled' - but I guess some people will never see the difference...
