I have just received (and uploaded) validations (and deletions) for 2nd half September.

You will be pleased to know that the average deletion rate for whole Sept is 20.5%, comparing favourably with August's (which was 34%)

Also I have been informed that the technical issue has been looked at and resolved - I will be checking order IDs against all Contract sales tomorrow.

I advise you to try a few sales between now and tomorrow if you so wish.

    Best wishes,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

So what exactly are the deletions for? Can we realisticly compare September with August? Are September sales not post credit check and August pre?

Could you please clear up what basis we are currently working. If we produce a pending sale from now on, is it pre or post credit check? Can it still be deleted and if so why? What is the commission rate?

Has compensation been discussed with the agency yet?

    John,

Deletions come from csv I receive from agency with orders with duplicate order IDs. Where there are duplicates, the agency take to sale. They run a lot of other activity for Vodafone, so duplications vary depending on the amount of activity elsewhere.

This is why it is crucial that I am able to monitor the deletion rate closely, and also why it is good news that it is lower month on month.

"Where there are duplications, the agency take the sale."

Isn't that going against good practice? It should surely be the last click that gets credited with the sale, not the agency by default. Comments?

So does this mean that there was less activity elsewhere last month than in August? What would explain the drop?

What activity is there that would result in DGM's sale tag being invoked? This would have to be the result of an order filled in on the vodafone site, wouldn't it? Wouldn't that rule out the resellers?

What other activity would have claim to the sale? I'm trying to get a picture of what an applicant would have to do to have the sale classed as a duplicate.

I will go and find out. Then give you official feedback.
