B & Q - New Site Launch

Hope all is well :0)

We are delighted to announce that B & Q will be re-launching their site on Tuesday 29th November 2005. The new site will help improve customer navigation and is aimed to increase OSC, increasing your return on investment!

There will be a transition period from 1am to 6am on Tuesday 29th November 2005 as the new site launches. After this period the new site will be live.

The new site will be using a different link structure so deep linking will be changing. Any deep links created by publishers will either re-direct to the new homepage or to the equivalent new page on the B & Q site, therefore publishers do not have to start changing over deep links until the transition has been completed at 6am. We expect the new site launch to happen with minimum disruption.

Banner URL's will be updated in dgmPro, automatically updating creative elements. The XML feed, containing the new link structure will be available from Tuesday 29th November 2005. Publishers who use this feed are advised to download the most up to date version as soon as possible.

B&Q is in the process of running final tests to their new website and the site's final launch, and is now scheduled for tonight.

There is no need to change your links at present. Any deep links will either re-direct to the new homepage or to the equivalent new page on the B & Q site,

do us a favour.... before you send us an email informing us that the new b and q site is really great and ready to go.

Check the tracking pixel is back in place!

It happens all the time, and knowing what dgm are like it will be another three days before we are informed.

The new B & Q site has now launched.

I can confirm that all links are still working and sales are coming through as normal.

I will cofirm when the updated XML feed will be ready for downloading
