You may have noticed a range of recent consumer offers at Comet, the latest being a free mp3 player with every purchase of a camcorder - currently being heavily promoted on TV:

When I get a spare few minutes I'm going to pull all the latest offers together with some stats so everyone can take full advantage of some great consumer offerings.

November has been a hugely successful month for the program - heading for the best ever - and we saw an uplift from November to December 2004 of 50% so we're expecting a massive December 2005.

Comet has added quite a few consumer offerings to their site recently, some heavily backed by TV advertising.

I'll outline a few then give you a quick heads up on the performance of the program at the moment.

Some of the offers last longer than others and the free mp3 player promotion mentioned earlier expires at the end of the week:

The program is really flying at the moment and we're experiencing a big uplift in sales from November 2004. Given that publishers managed a 50% uplift from November to December last year we're expecting a massive end to the year.

Average transaction value is around £275 and onsite conversion is about a third up on Q3 figures. EPC is also up by a similar amount. With current commissions of 3.5% this is a very competitive program.

Don't forget to look out for Comet's online special prices that offer big savings over instore prices. This should be key to helping to guide customers online.
