Tiscali have just announced that they will now be offering increased commission rates on their 2 Mb Broadband Package making it £12.50.

They now offer £10 for 1Mb Broadband, £12.50 for 2Mb Broadband and £15 for their Bundles along with £1.50 for pay as you go dial up internet and £5 for their dial up packages.

On top of this you can earn a £100 bonus for achieving over 50 broadband sales a month and double commission on PAYG sales if you sell more than 20 a month.

Deletion rates are minimal giving them an extremely competitive EPC and EPM

The increased commission is affective as of today the 6th of December.

    Kind regards

To be fair, those commissions will still get you absolute minimal promotion, if any at all!!!

It makes you wonder what advice some affiliate networks give to the merchants. What do some of them do, to earn the overriding fees?

    Extremely competitive EPC and EPM?!

We didn't all just fall off the boat you know. Tiscali have had one of the lowest commission rates for years now and this massive £2.50 increase still makes them by far the lowest broadband merchant in the marketplace in terms of CPA.

Granted they convert well but then again so do BT, Wanadoo and many others. BT play a flat rate of £30 CPA and Wanadoo pay up to £60 CPA. On top of that their are bonuses for high achievers. And by bonus I don't mean an extra £2 per sale I mean serious money.

I'm sorry; I do appreciate the fine art of "spin" but I doubt even Labour politicians could spin this deal to look attractive!

In all fairness to DGM the CPA that the merchant offers is sometimes completely out of their control. In other words there is nothing DGM can do about it.

However I do object to DGM staff posting on here and telling us all what a great deal it is when obviously its not.

All valid comments, but the post was not an attempt to put a positive spin on things but to communicate an increase in CPA no matter how small.

I appreciate that the CPA is lower than for many competitors but as I said before the extremely low deletion rates coupled with a good OSC and popular consumer offers do result in a EPC and EPM that is above many of the competitors.

As we all know, the level of CPA is not the be all and end all of a programme, if they have a poor OSC and CTR a high CPA will mean very little. Also some competitors have a deletion rate of up to 45% meaning that although their CPA is higher the resulting EPC and EPM is a lot lower.
