    It’s that time of year again! The best conversion rate, highest average order values and the biggest sales volumes of the year are happening over the next couple of months.

    Currently we are offering the following deals for Peak:

    Self-Catering summer holidays from £499 per family, per week

    Touring / Caravan and Camping Summer holidays: Save 15% on School Summer Holiday Touring from £18 per night or £18 per pitch, per night

    Half-Board summer holidays from £549 per family, per week


    Customer-Friendly Site

    Webuser magazine gave a 4 out of 5 star rating for revamping the site to give people a comprehensive look at what the parks feature and making it an “extremely user-friendly site”. From each park’s page you can find prices, the features the park has to offer, local events, pictures and a 360 degree view of highlighted areas.


    Average Order Value and Conversion Rates

    This time every year brings a major increase in average order values and conversion rates as people get serious about booking their summer holidays. We expect the average order value to increase this month by 20-30% and the conversion rate at this time last year increased by 10%. These two factors combined result in a strong earnings per click and a fantastic commission.


    Haven holidays offers 4% commission on all sales with a 30 day cookie. We have 34 award-winning Parks all across the UK, offering the traffic you send the most choice of any Holiday Park and therefore a higher likelihood of converting.

    Hi,

    Just to follow up on Kerry's post, the average order value for July is already up £50 on June's figure, currently at £275.80. This represents an average commission of £11.03.

    Our conversion rate always increases in the peak summer months but thanks to hard work by our affiliates on the program the conversion rate the conversion rate has been on the rise anyway - mainly due to some strategic deeplinking.

    All these deeplinks are available from the 'Text Link' section of dgmPro below the creative area in the 'Manage' tab.

    I just looked at the XML feed and it contains elements like
    < name > Fantastic Haven Deal on 17 July 2006 for 4 Nights < /name >

    Which is a bit tricky when getting a computer to scan through the elements to pick out deals that have expired or are about to expire.

    What would be useful is to have the start date and end date in separate elements using ISO 8601 date format such as would be automatically produced by many database to XML utilities.

    You have the data in your database with dates in separate fields (if you don't you should have stern words with your IT department) we need it like that to make proper use of it so please put the bounding dates in separate fields in the product feed.
