Comet Update and the launch of Nintendo Wii

Dear Affiliate,

Unfortunately the new Comet Site due to launch tomorrow has been suspended.

Deep Links
This does not effect any URL changes that affiliates have made, since all new URLs redirect to the existing site.

Could we please ask you to continue preparing your sites by using new URL redirects, as once the new site launches, existing URLs will not work.


Banner Creatives
All the creatives for Comet will now link correctly to the new site when it launches. The creatives at the moment all link to the current homepage however moving forward they will eventually link to the new homepage.

Once the new site is Live and running smoothly, your creatives will direct to specific pages (e.g. Integrated Appliances page for the relative Promo Banners).

The old links will not work once the new site goes live. Therefore it is important that all affiliates change the links on their site to the new ones especially if you have hard coded the URL.

Communication will be sent to you once the new site goes live.

Comet is now taking pre-orders for Nintendo Wii where customers will only have to place a £10 deposit!!!

For every Pre-order affiliates will be awarded 20% commission of the £10 deposit.
