About the product
People can now give regularly to provide the ‘Essentials of Life’ for as little as £8 a month. This opens up a market for people who want to support our work, but cannot commit to £18 a month for Child Sponsorship. Suggested copy for the ‘Essentials of Life’:
“In the developing world, families and communities face severe challenges every day due to not having access to life’s essentials. For just £2 a week, you can fund World Vision’s long-term work in helping give those in need access to the essentials of life: clean water, enough food, healthcare and education. Start giving your support and help break the cycle of poverty.”

The new affiliate banners use images of two pound coins changing into the essentials of water, food, healthcare and education. You can pick up the creatives from your account via www.dgmpro.com.
Campaign update – World Vision Child Sponsorship
Now is the ideal time to promote World Vision.
World Vision is launching new TV and Radio creative that will make the World Vision brand more mainstream and better known within the UK. Furthermore, with big events such as Comic Relief and Christian Aid Week approaching, awareness of a need to support International Development will be high. We are also giving our affiliate campaign fresh impetus by making the following changes:
New creative
The new affiliate banners integrate with a wider creative strategy that is running across all the different media channels around the theme of ‘What will you feel?’ The new advertising focuses on the feelings that surround doing something to help those in desperate need. The adverts show how supporters share in feelings of hope, joy and pride experienced by the communities that they help. The new suggested copy reflects this:
“Each day, children have to struggle through life without the basics we all take for granted, like clean water, nutritious food and healthcare. By giving £18 a month (just 60p a day), you can help a child grow up healthy and happy, and feel proud to have given them a real chance of escaping poverty. What will you feel as a child sponsor? Start changing a child’s life for the better today. “
New landing page
www.sponsor.org has been refreshed to provide greater opportunities for consumers to interactively engage with videos telling them what sponsorship is all about. This is a significant improvement on the landing page and you should expect a greater yield as a result.
