    Dear Affiliates,

We are delighted to announce that 192.com has launched on the network.

192.com is the UK's leading people finding website with 2M unique visitors conducting over 10M searches every month!

192.com uniquely searches more residential records than any other service - giving more results, more often at a fraction of the cost of 118 calls. Limited information is available for free on the site, acting as a teaser to encourage users to purchase premium access.

Now is your chance to get on board 192.com's first foray into affiliate marketing - take advantage of their offer of 10% commission on all orders for its premium records. Packages start from £9.95 with the average order worth over £30.

Banners are available from their recent successful display advertising campaign or you can easily integrate 192.com's search form into your own website. These can be picked up from your management area of dgmPro.

Have a search today to see who you can find on 192.com...

    A long lost love?
    An old friend?
    Or someone you just met?

If you have any questions regarding this campaign, please contact Matt Swan.

    Kind regards,

Think you should do a bit of research Matt - 192.com have had an affiliate programme before - so this is not their "first foray into affiliate marketing"

They were suspended from the DGM network in January 2004.......admittedly a while ago but since it was your own network I would have hoped there would still be someone left at DGM who could remember them from last time around...
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

    Hi Keith,

Apologies about this, it was a while ago, predating me and most of the affiliate team but we should have spotted this.

Doesn't take away from the launch of the campaign though, get yourself signed up!!

As far as I am concerned, 192.com and their bot behave in the same way as all other email harvesting bots and site skimming rogue bots and should be banned from everyone's sites.

When I complained about their bot hitting my sites, I did not even get an acknowledgement for the email.

They have a load of junk about me on the site and, after seeing how their bot behaves, I would not like to complete their web form asking them to remove the junk as I don't want to give them a valid email address for me.

    Just my 2 pennies worth.

    Hi Moredial,

Whilst you are entitled to your opinion I feel I must point out that 192.com has won numerous awards, including Best Online Directory for 4 years on the trot and "One of the sites that changed the web forever" by Net Magazine.

Of course, it is your right to promote any campaign that you like and I guess that you won't be promoting this one, but there are plenty of opportunities for affiliates to make money through 192.com.

As the affiliate network it is not our place to get into arguments about a merchants business practices so I will leave it at that. Please contact me on the details below if you wish to know any more.

    Thanks,

    Matt
