Haven Holidays – PPC Restrictions Reminder

Hi,

We would like to remind Haven Holidays affiliates that there are a number of restrictions on the program in regards to PPC.

These restrictions are as follows:

• Affiliates are prohibited from using the term “official” in their search copy
• Affiliates are prohibited from using the official URL – Caravan Holidays and Holiday Parks in the UK | Family Holidays with Haven Holidays, Caravan Holidays and Holiday Parks in the UK | Family Holidays with Haven Holidays, Caravan Holidays and Holiday Parks in the UK | Family Holidays with Haven Holidays
• Affiliates must use landing pages to direct traffic to the Haven site, rather than linking directly through from search engines
• Affiliates must use their own privacy policy and contact us links on their landing page to ensure customers know the site is not the official site.
• Affiliates are prohibited from bidding on brand terms, or brand permutations, misspellings and park terms UNLESS given prior consent from Haven Holidays or Quantum Media and there is a written agreement
• Affiliates are prohibited from using branded URL’s example (UNLESS they have been given prior consent): Haven, British Holidays, Cala Gran, Combe Haven – upon request a list can be produced
Affiliates found to be breaching any of these restrictions are at risk from being removed from the program and having commissions withheld.

Is this implying there are brand bidding groups on any of the networks the program is on?

I think its funny that vbulletin turns those urls into the descriptions, but it does actually make that clause difficult to understand!
