Haven Brand Bidding Groups

Hi Haven,

It's encouraging to see that folowing our discussion, across Buy.at & DGM ,the brand bidding group information has been added accordingly. However, yet to be still sorted from that discussion is the inaccurate display urls for affiliates, where if you search for various park names from those listed below there often appears two additional domains with the park name as part of the display url (owned by Bourne Leisure) for which we have been informed are bbg affiliates, one on DGM & one on BUYAT.

However both of these redirect, via dartsearch, to the main Haven site & not the dispaly url. Why hasn't this been sorted yet?

Also not in every instance is the affiliates ads below the main merchant one, which is stipulated in your T&C's.

Also what reassurances can you offer us that the brand bidding group cookie doesn't overwrite other content affiliates?

Any t&c's that state this are ridiculous. If you know your way around paid search and particualy adwords you will know that it is not only the CPC that affects the position. It is the deemed quality and that is something (as we have seen recently) that is quite an unknown sometimes.

Looks like Haven need to shape up a bit to attract the better affiliates.

Sorry for the delay on this

We have been talking with Haven about this for quite a while in quite a lot of detail (hence the delay), but we should have all redirects removed in the next week or so, meaning all display URL’s will reflect the landing pages they link through to.
