Registered over 8yrs ago (2002) DiscountVouchers.com is one of the best, if not the best discount voucher names money can buy, especially since google have changed there search and users are being prompted for Discount Vouchers when just typing the simple word " Discount ".


With a live site and some SEO loving this would be a killer discount vouchers site.

Obviously this was not a cheap purchase as we didn't want anyone else trading on our brand and Barry had a gun to our head and our arse was against the wall.

The official news will come out on Monday.....anyone care to ask how much????

Let this be proof to anyone who ever doubts the value of certain domain names, the size of the voucher code market or the extent that Dougs will go to get a free lunch!

The reason for the purchase was simply brand protection, as we have seen the growth in discountvouchers.co.uk explode. Our estimates in the first full year of trading we will have done between £50-100 million of sales to merchants.

It is not the voucher code side where we are seeing the great growth but the discount vouchers and the deals side. I would estimate that less than 10% of our business comes from codes and almost none of our business comes from ranking in Google for a merchants name
