ContactMe.com Premium domain/site for sale
Hi guys, I have built a very cool email site at www.ContactMe.com
At the same time I also launched a dating site (http://www.sparkireland.com)
To cut a long story short, the dating site is doing very well and I am finding that I just do not have the time to spend on the email site.
Users are pretty non existent as I never got around to launching it properly (the site is brand new). Basically I took too much on with both sites, so I would rather see it go to someone who has the time to develop it.
I think it would do extremely well with the right owner, after all everyone uses email. Also you have to admit, it is a fantastic domain name and brand.
I am just looking to cover my costs of creating the site, but obviously this is a premium domain and a rather fine site so sensible offers only please. I know I could sell the domain name separately but it would be nice to keep it as an email site, as I think it’s a very cool brand. The sale includes everything, domain, code, design (with sources).
My cost of creating the site was around £20,000. The domain cost £10,000, and coding design etc was about £5,000. I have gotten the domain independently valued by sedo, and would be happy to send the pdf on to anyone who wants to see it.
For the domain only I am thinking £10,000, for the whole site/system £15,000.
Best of luck.
Brian

It is a good name but i'm wondering how web based email systems like this will be able to compete with things like gmail.com which go beyond the standard hotmail style interface.

Spot the typo - sorry Brian, I'm a nitpicker by trade - but it's a great pitch and I expect you'll be a millionaire long before me!

Did you say HOTMAIL? cough, spit, choke!

Why? because hotmail shows me so many of their own bl**dy ads I have to hunt for the 'my messages' link!
If you want an email for me to sign up and I don't trust you, you get my hotmail address. If I think you're probably OK but I'm not sure, you get my GMAIL address.
Only if I trust you do you get my real address.
For me, HOTMAIL is the bottom of the pile.
Ah, sorry guys, off on a tangent again!

Thanks for the feedback.
Well the idea was to appeal to people who want the next level up from hotmail/gmail etc Eg instead of being bob6788@hotmail.com you could actually get bob@contactme.com Or you could make it free and make money off ad revenue.
The name is quite generic so it would also suit a dating site, customer relationship, jobs, etc.
