Good luck with the sale, it's looking healthy going so far, hopefully you will get the price you want for it!
Cheers

From an initial bid of US $25,000 at eBay, bidding for deleted.com has risen to $42,100.00.
Bike.com sold last month for $500,000 and WirelessPhone.com for $355,000. Even a fairly average CreditCare.com just sold on Tuesday, 27 June for $125,000. Deleted.com is a superior domain name to the latter.
There are 216,000,000 results on Google for “deleted” and the domain name could have a number of uses, including deleted stress, deleted debt, deleted pain, deleted data or deleted domains.
The domain name receives over 400 type-in visitors a day and has a Google Page Rank of 4. The price includes a developed website.
We have just uploaded some screenshots to show a few things. First off, http://www.deleted.com/ebay/oneweekstats.jpg . Here you can see the consistancy of users. Sedo's Tracker is installed which also monitors the traffic. Visit here: http://www.deleted.com/ebay/toptensedo.jpg (only put it up two days ago); in this shot you can also see that Deleted.com is in the top 10 current domains on Sedo ranked for traffic.
However, its content and existing traffic are insignificant compared to its value as a one word dot com domain name. Sedo - the largest domain transaction and resell company in the world - has selected deleted.com to be in their Top Domains List. Only around 300 domains are chosen for this category from over 4 million domains listed!
As businesses move online, deleted.com will only increase in value. The eBay auction represents a unique opportunity to own the Beverly Hills of cyberspace.
The eBay auction can be found here.

Nadeem,
You have made me go green for a 2nd time, well done mate.![]()
Good luck!
http://www.domainstate.com/showthrea...threadid=64837 That the same domain?
As on that thread it mentions shill bidding and other dubious stuff ?
Very intersting read as it seems 'nitro4' is the domain owner / azam?
Likewise worth reading http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.ph...ht=deleted.com / http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?p=18494 etc.
All quite interesting![]()
Thanks for your post rob.co.uk. I don't know if there is attempt to imply anything by linking to those threads, but I never hide my identity online - unlike most people on forums and within 30 seconds you can find thousands of posts by me online (as well as my name, address, home, office and mobile number). The reason I am forthcoming with my details is because I have nothing to hide. I'd like to think I behave with the utmost ethics (just last night I turned down the opportunity to make thousands of pounds with an affiliate program because it didn't live up to my ethical standards. The affiliate manager was surprised at my stance; in all probability 99% of people on A4U would not bat an eyelid at promoting that merchant if they have the chance of making thousands.) I am not "nitro" or "Mr Deleted" - I use Azam as my username on forums.
Quite frankly, I don't know about the background or history of deleted.com. As many people on this forum know I work as a Domain Name Consultant, have a significant number of contacts in the domain name industry, and am regularly hired by people to help them sell domain names. I was recruited to promote deleted.com for a client - who, as the ebay auction clearly states is in British Columbia, Canada - and if you can point out one thing that I have done wrong then please state it in public.
As for the background to deleted - thanks for digging it out for us. I'm as intrigued as you are that it has had such a convoluted history and will read the posts you have linked to in detail after the footy game. Cheers for finding those posts... I just hope that there has been no skullduggery in the past sales of deleted.com and my company's reputation is not tarnished because we were hired to find buyers for it![]()

Auction has now been pulled it seems. This listing (#130000522404) has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure you entered the right item number.
If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it canceled. Note: Listings that have ended more than 90 days ago will no longer appear on eBay.
Try searching for another item now.
If you are brokering / promoting it could be worth stating that in a sales thread otherwise there would be confusion.
It could be worth following this up on the other forums you posted regarding this name as the 'azam brand' could be tarnished by negative association - as I only read the acorn stuff and generally brokers state they are brokering etc.
Hope this all gets sorted out and the sellers fees are big enough to offset the hassle it causes you - keep us posted - good luck!!
Horrified to see the auction being removed by ebay - clearly some monkey business taking place. I'll be lucky to see a penny from this. I wish I'd never got involved, quite frankly.Originally Posted by rob.co.uk

Thanks for the advice re: other forums. Will work on that right now.
