I registered this a couple of years ago for a private sale estate agent I was starting. The business went to the wall quite quickly (due to lack of money!) and I forgot all about it until the other day when I read that private property sales have really taken off this year (up to ten percent of house sales in the UK are now done via websites), especially with the Home Information Packs being brought in soon.
I have built an affiliate website to go with the domain name, and the idea was to get a referral business going (the name can obviously also be applied to cars, auction websites etc). But I know nothing about affiliate schemes and things, and I don't really have the time to do this. I have quickly put some links on the site to show the amount of private property sale websites there are, and there are also quite a few auction sites and car sale sites. Some of them already offer affiliate schemes through Affiliate Window etc, but some of them might be persuaded to pay for advertising.
I think this could really turn into a decent business for somebody, especially with the name (
www.privateseller.co.uk) being so good!! The site has little traffic, as it wasn't operational for a long time, but i think there are still a few links knocking around the internet somewhere. I'm looking to sell this to the highest bidder (assuming anybody wants it!) so make me an offer!
