Vaguely thinking of selling - couple of questions

Hi all, I'm vaguely thinking of selling a site, and I have a couple of questions.

1. How are debts currently owed usually handled? If for example you're currently owed a few k by networks, and you sell for a few k, doesn't seem too fair. Would owing money usually be discounted from a sale, or would the purchase price just usually reflect the extra cash about to come in?

2. If you also do some direct to advertiser PPC would that even be considered in a sale usually? If it's in the same sector as the main website, and brings in good money with very little work, it seems like it should be worth something...

1) the money is owed to you, not to your site - if someone buys the site they don't buy money owed to you unless you're selling them a registered company.

2) it's worth nothing, and is not part of the sale as it's nothing to do with your site.
