Hi Guys,

We have developed a new site which is in the moneysupermarket, beatthatquote genre.

Our original plans were to market the site with the backing of a well-known secured loan lender, however, the current credit crisis/crunch and climate lhas lead to said backer pulling out due to internal rejigging.

The site boasts a huge range of products for each vertical and we had intended to promote the site advertisement-free. We are now considering our options as to where we go with the site.

We are open to genuine suggestions and any genuine business enquires.

Thanks,

John Anderson

Your site looks nice and clean, and I assume the deals it offers are all accurate etc.

What you need is an SEO, as you are making some very common mistakes, heres a couple for you:

1): You have a canonical issue, that is that your site is available at FinanceUK - Beyond comparison and at finance.co.uk (minus the www), you should sort this out with a simple 301 redirect.

2): Your Title tag leads with your company name and then "beyond comparison", this should lead with something like "Cheap loans - Credit cards - etc - " , Get the keywords you want to rank for at the front of the title.

3): Your H1 tag for the home page is poor, it needs to me more focussed on what the site is selling.

4): Going back to your title tags, every page has exactly the same title tag, this is extremely poor, each page needs a unique and targeted title tag.

5): You have excess Javascript embedded in the pages, it should be removed to external files..

Theres a bunch more stuff (we obviously haven't even considered the fact you have only 7 backlinks), thats just the start, but the good news is I think you have a promising site to start with, it just needs some work.

What kind of business partner are you looking for? Are you offering equity?

cheers
c5

Hi c5,

We're aware of the SEO issues; the site is in need of optimising and this will be taken care of in due course, but thanks for the advice

We are open to genuine suggestions and proposals, so if you have any please pm or email me and we can discuss further.

Thanks,

John
