Hi,

I have recently built the following website (Website launched 4 weeks ago!):

www.cheapgymmembership.co.uk

I am now receiving about 30 UV's a day - and it is growing! The site is highly listed for a large amount of related cheap and discounted Gym phrases on Google and Yahoo.

Anyone who takes this website on, has a great opportunity to make it into a high traffic website. The website was intended to promote the PruHealth programme, however as the gym offer through PruHealth is to shortly end, it I am not able to promote this offer on the site at the current time. However I am sure that such a popular health insurance offer will be introduced in the not too far distant future.

I am not desperate to sell, but I would consider a sensible offer. The site was launched about 4 weeks ago, and has had earned barely any revenue through Adsense.

This is your chance to buy a great domain name and website to add to your portfolio.

i wouldnt show stats for past couple days , as you will have got a lot of visits from this forum and from other forum you've advertised it on.

Thanks Max - these stats are purely from Google and a little from Yahoo. These do not include traffic figures from forums.

From the 1st July to 17th (site only advertised yesterday and today for sale) 199 total visits via 170 keywords.

im not putting teh site down , dont get me wrong ..
its very well laid out ..

my point was if its about as optimised to convert visitor - sale wise as it is going to get and its not getting any commission then it coudl be #1 and my offer would still be teh same

if its not making money then its not worth much .. ok sure the name is good ....but that is teh only thing going for it

please dont think im having a ***** about your site im not .. i like the layout, just in my opinion if its not making money then it can rank #1 and still not worth much

Give it a rest will you - the guy's trying to sell his domain, not an established business?

The site is ranking well for some good search terms and this has been done in a short period of time - anyone with an ounce of marketing knowledge can see the potential here.

Google keyword tool suggests average search volume for:

• 'gym membership' = 27,100
• 'gym membership prices' = 880
• 'cheap gym membership' = 720

Potential is the key here. I bought a site from this section last weekend in the £x,xxx region and it was making no money at all.

I bought it based on the google positions / age of site and what I can do with it. Within 6-12 months (but most probably much sooner) this project will have paid for itself and it is a worthwhile investment to me, as it will make money on autopilot with no PPC.

If I didn't have so much work on (as alot of you alredy know) I would make an offer on this myself, as it also ties in with some of my other projects nicely.

Hell, if you were to buy this and have some strategicaly placed adsense ads on it, you would make your money back in no time, as fitness / gym adwords are quite high click value.

As Fizzbird said, marketing is the key to making ANYTHING a success in this game.

yeah as i said it is ranked well and does have potential but i wouldnt buy it on the "off chance" of pru-health launching somewhere else or another health club going live
adsense pays peanuts now .. if you use it you'd know

heck i was even willing to prove myself wrong and made an offer on the site just want to make sure i have enough in the bank before i confirm it or make a higher bid

i like the site and like the domain i meant it was must a shame about the lack of programs

if you like it so much fizz i assume ( based on your vast marketing experience ) you have made an offer ??

i made an offer but its not 100% until i know with 100% certainty how much i'll have at the end of the month

if i dont get it i wish him all the best with a sale as its a great name
