Hi all,
I'm thinking of selling an Amazon affiliate site I own, just interested to try and gauge its value at this stage, and then will look to put a fair asking price and BIN on with my auction. If you could let me know what sort of range a site like this would be worth it would be very much appreciated :tup
OK it's an Amazon affiliate site as I mentioned, selling a range of electronic goods, site has been up for 4 months now with stats as follows...
Aug: +£131.79
Sep: +£203.73
Oct: +£308.84
Nov: +£836.75
Dec: +£99.13 (in 2 days) set to hit £800+ again if not the £1k mark
It runs on two domain names, both .co.uk, one reasonable domain and one pretty good domain (value on its own would be £75-100 approx). Unfortunately the domains do include a brand name, but there's a lot of sites running with the name in their domain and never heard of any problems as a result of this.
Traffic comes from CPC campaigns, spending on average £15/day for Nov, before then £5/day average, the totals listed above are profits (ie after the CPC costs have been deducted from the sites revenue). The products the site sells are quite seasonal in the sense that there is a natural increase around the Xmas period, but I would estimate profits of a few hundred per month as an average for the period Jan-Aug.
So, what do you think? any ideas on valuations without me giving away all the details?
Thanks, Greg
