I can't be the only Google Adwords affiliate using Quickbooks or other accounting package shirley?
Here's the scenario (which fits a number of us I think):
1) Our company is UK VAT registered.
2) We have added our UK VAT details to Google Adwords
3) Their Invoices state we have to reverse self assess VAT
Clear as mud. Thanks to thread here have found this relevant snip on www.hmce.gov.uk:
---
You, as customer:
Add to (credit) your VAT account the amount of output tax, calculated on the full value of the supply you have received- post to box 1 of your VAT return, and at the same time;
Increase the amount of input tax to which you are entitled –post to box 4.
Enter the full value of the supply in boxes 6 and 7 of your VAT return
---
I'm not sure how to do that in the real world!
I've printed out the invoices from Google and now I want to enter then pay these bills using Quickbooks and I'm stuck. Do I add VAT to the Invoice total? Can I reclaim this - and if so how?
Any help gratefully received - but please make it quick!![]()
